Mike kicks off this episode with a story about losing his wallet in France, as well as the difficulties in maintaining proper hygiene on long flights as well as unfortunately sized European garments. Season 2 Premiere! We kick off the New Year talking about Rocky and mailing Christmas cards 10 feet away.  We take a small dive into the 80's while talking about Cobra Kai - and somehow end up at Diff'rent Strokes and Robocop.  Darin shares his story of meeting Gordon Jump (of WKRP fame), and talks about "Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids".  We answer some listener/viewer mail about goats and favorite spreads - leading to an oddly animated talk about apple butter.  Darin would like restaurants to get back to normal menus.  We found out we have a very special follower on Twitter.  Speaking of Twitter, Darin had a good tweet.  Finally - believe it or not, some more Zero bar controversy.

Season 1 Finale - and we're going out in.....well, style?Mike's brain is not working right quite from the start of the show, and it goes sideways from there.  Goats are mentioned, and two titans of the donut industry are discussed.  The two discuss recent cough patterns (hey, they're not all gonna be winners, folks) - and some talk about The Last Jedi and The Mandalorian (we heard that if we talk about Star Wars for five episodes in a row, we get a free Jawa!).  Darin has a story that connects Cranberry Sprite and Colt 45 - and we answer a listener question about croutons.

The Christmas Episode!Rough start, some merch talk, and a review!  Mike has finally, after 16 episodes, learned a simple editing task that everyone on the planet has known for decades.  We discuss MORE issues with Star Wars, and talk a bit about an aspect of The Mandalorian that flipped Mike out.  We touch on Tom Hanks and Robin Williams doing serious roles.  Someone sent a case of Zero bars to the irritable duo!  Chestnuts come up - and Darin is shocked that this leads to more discussion than it probably should have.  Darin discusses a short story by Dave Sedaris, and Mike talks about getting to Return of the King in the latest Lord of the Rings viewing with the kids - and how that led to about 30 minutes of ugly crying.  We unleash a new segment - "Duh!" - and have a Just Stop about people getting too opinionated about how YOU like your burgers/steak/etc.  Finally, we end with Christmas presents!

This one's a doozy.  Mike and Darin start off arguing like a pair of old codgers, and lead into Mike's rant about EVERYTHING on the internet needing to be a video these days.   Once hopped up on a Monster energy drink, the show shifts into high gear and tackles such topics as dog-poo flinging etiquette, the physics and science of Star Wars:  how to build a Death Star, Cantina music, AT-AT's  (also known as giant camel tanks), each planet's "theme", and WTF is up with Bespin?!?  A few customer service stories, listener Just Stops, and Mike's family's new obsession with Lord of the Rings.  Finally - we end the show with a taste test of a flippin' Zero bar.

Darin and Mike talk about random and pointless stuff including Lost, Dexter, the worst movies of all time, weird Subway orders in a gas station full of wrong, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and other road movies, Breaking Bad, salad dressing that could end a relationship, Star Wars Episode 2, and Uncle Rico.  Oh, and Winnie the Pooh.

IDS's first Live Episode (kind of) - Darin tells his epic adventure through customer service to score some lime sherbet, and Mike rambles on about Kool-Aid and its glory.  Just Stops include terrible customer service and people who just HAVE to go through their fast food while still in the drive-through lane.  Somehow, two dental stories show up - both involving pliers, broken teeth, pain, and laughter.  Darin finds a legal loophole allowing him to buy a quesadilla maker as a Christmas gift, and finally - we go through our favorite (or, at least, most tolerable) Christmas songs.

A 2020 time capsule?  Why?  Also - some people STILL think our show is about IBS.  Darin discovers a new spoon, and tells a story about a heist on Jesse Jackson's fork.  People in the family who LOVE to spoil The Mandalorian.  We have some older dog tales (smart and stupid).  A couple of Just Stops, and finally - listener questions which lead us to talk about carpentry, Lost, Stephen King, salsa, Sanka, and bad Christmas presents!

Mike clearly puts no effort into the podcast, and Darin discusses the 51st birthday of Sesame Street!  The Zero candy bar shows up again, and Darin shares stories of shopping cart fraud and impromptu Best Buy customer service.  The two actually agree on movies that are so bad they're good, and this week's Just Stop is interrupted by Mike's unfortunate incident (see first line in the show notes).  Somehow, Pac-Man, Emmet Otter (and his Jugband Christmas), Mario, Superman 3, and MacGyver get woven into this glorious tapestry of the idiotic.  Finally, some random stories that are sure to get Darin in trouble as soon as his wife listens to this episode.

IDS actually gets slightly (but not really) kinda political as we discuss the election results.  Darin reads a book!  The Lord of the Rings play is pretty much exactly how you would imagine it, and we've got three "Just Stop"'s this week!  Tons of listener questions (including Halloween costume stories) - and somehow we throw Zero bars in there!  Oh, and Darin has to watch Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 on release date.

It's Picture Day!!Plus - Darin messes up with a hair compliment and reports on three things he doesn't know.  Mike (finally) figures out the correct room number in a movie he claims is a favorite.  We have a ton of audience questions ranging from fine art to exploding eggs.  Darin's tired of getting the Led out, honey-do lists, and teriyaki chicken bread bowl salads.
